The 2003 Green Paper Excellence and Enjoyment: a strategy for primary schools introduced the Primary National Strategy (PNS), which embraces the existing literacy and numeracy strategies and extends similar support to other subjects including music. The arts and creativity are stressed, and support is to be given to teachers on using new technology (DfES 2003).

This is the answer for musical and non musical teachers helping to implement the QCA scheme, at the touch of a screen. The children are involved, educated and entertained and the teacher is guided through the curriculum with careful planning and class worksheets.

Thanks for demonstrating the music software for Year One. It is an excellent package and a very useful resource which we will be delighted to use. There are so few resources available for this age group, so it is great to find some material which is so easy to use and so accessible for the children. Full Chord Music have created a package which is educationally sound but also which the children can fully enjoy. We look forward to seeing the new CD roms for Year Two and above.
